Hello Friends. It's been a while, I know.
We were on holidays in San Francisco for a week (I shared some photos in my 52 Weeks Post) and had the most amazing time, one of our best vacations ever. We've been home for two weeks now and I am not too sure where the time has gone. Anyways, I hope to be back to posting more regularly again, to sharing some creative things with you. In the meantime, I thought I'd take stock....
Making: crochet pineapples, I'm not exactly sure why
Cooking: plant based meals
Drinking: water
Reading: At Home in the World
Looking: at photos from our vacation
Deciding: which herbs to plant in the garden
Hoping: it is warm on the weekend so I can wear a dress for Mother's Day
Enjoying: my decluttered house
Waiting: for too many things
Liking: the evening light
Loving: the scrapbooks the girls made of our trip
Pondering: what to do with the cards I made that are sitting in the cupboard
Listening: to podcasts - so many - and learning so much
Considering: another wardrobe purge
Buying: shoes for the girls
Browsing: my crochet book collection
Wishing: for a night out alone with Steve
Wondering: what to do with the crochet blanket I started, but don't like
Marveling: at the swan I see every morning on my drive to work
Cringing: at the amount of yard work that needs to be done
Needing: a good conversation
Smelling: my blackberry candle burning on the kitchen counter
Wearing: leggings, always
Noticing: that my weekends are not very restful
Knowing: that there are some things I just do not want to do anymore
Prioritizing: healthy eating, though it is a lot of work
Sorting: through my forsaken scrapbooking supplies
Thinking: about what to bring to our Mother's Day BBQ
Getting: excited about another Loft Box season
Celebrating: the continued survival of all my houseplants
Disliking: how expensive life is
Opening: the windows, every chance I can
Feeling: a little anxious
Hearing: the bus drive by
Embracing: stolen moments to myself

It was such fun having a bit of a catch up with you and yours, Rachel. I had a nearly two month blogging pause and am still easing back into the creative interaction. The last scrapbook I worked on was in February for my one-year-old granddaughter. I just have a few more sentences to write in it. Progress! I am so glad you and your family had a fabulous time touring San Francisco. On our first date my husband and I walked across the Golden Gate Bridge, and all our visits in the city were interesting and full of seeing many beautiful sights. Happy Spring to you and yours! xx
ReplyDeleteHello Gracie! Walking across the Golden Gate Bridge sounds like an incredible first date. I'm glad to hear you are making progress on your scrapbook. A wonderful spring to you as well, and thank you for stopping by...
