The Butterfly Conservatory

A few weeks ago we visited The Butterfly Conservatory.

The air was humid in the conservatory, quails waddled across the paths, turtles swam in the pond, and butterflies and moths fluttered through the air.

Butterflies landed on the girls' heads.

And stopped for a sweet snack.

And some dead specimens gave the girls the opportunity to feel the wings of a butterfly and hold one in their hands.

We had a great afternoon enjoying these beautiful insects.
